Real Wedding: Devin & Stephen

Before heading out for the holiday weekend, here's a fun wedding from photographer Meghan McSweeney. Devin and Stephen were married last July at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, with 300 guests there to help them celebrate.


Devin wore a pair of favorite shoes purchased for $13 at Target.




Instead of a veil, Devin chose to wear a headband with tulle and felt flowers. She and her bridesmaids carried button bouquets made by Le Buttoniere.








Love this paper fan that looks like an electric vintage fan!

One of the very first inspiration boards I ever posted was inspired by The Secret Garden, and when I saw this post over on Dress Design Decor a couple of weeks ago, I immediately wanted to revisit the theme (and hopefully improve upon it). On the road again...

So sorry for being such a delinquent blogger this week - I'm starting to realize that multi-tasking and planning ahead aren't my biggest strengths, and I'm making a mid-year resolution that involves improvement in those areas. This week I've been at my sister's house in San Diego, spending some quality time with my darling nephews and stopping by the Film Is Not Dead workshop to meet up with some awesome wedding photographers. {via ffffound! } Since I'm on the road with my honey heading back to the Bay Area today, I don't have a post for you, but I have a charming real wedding to share with you tomorrow (and weekend links, of course), so make sure to stop by and check it out.
